Come and enjoy a little time for yourself. The gentle exercise and relaxation is just what is recommended for reviving you

after a busy day

All our regular Yoga teachers are

British Wheel of Yoga Diploma holders.

All regularly update their training.

Carolyn Clarke—is also a BWY Diploma Course Tutor and Verifier. She has taught in the region for over 30 years now and enjoys teaching all levels of practice.

Carolyn has a keen interest in all things yoga from history to philsophy and develops the use of yoga as an aid to living a healthy life.

Dave Clarke likes to help students to develop strength and stability in yoga posture, and encourages relaxation and good quality breathing in his classes. He particularly enjoys working with those who have had injuries through sport who are trying to 'get back to normal'

Margaret Bewick continues to teach at JT.

The class she runs is calming and gentle and is touched with her gentle humour. She has recently undertaken training to understand the use of yoga as part of the recovery process after cancer.

Dina Walter is on our teachers list and leads one class with us so far. Her care and attention to all things postural is a great asset to our continuing service to the community. The students in her class all benefit from her deep knowledge and consideration.

Dinas class is on hold for the time being and will recommence shortly

Kirstin Isherwood started her class in October 2009, running one Yoga & Pregnancy class on Thursday morning. She has changed the times to the evening to see if it will allow working mums to be a little time to unwind after a busy day.

She has recommenced teaching after her second pregancy, so is in a great position to give lots of useful teaching tips to the yoga and pregnancy group!

These continue throughout the year but do take into account some local school holidays.
Over 195 students attend on a regular basis.

One day and weekend courses are arranged as often as possible to offer a wide range of teaching styles and allow opportunities for learning on all aspects of yoga practice. These
are led by visiting tutors as well as by our resident Tutor Carolyn Clarke. *

We pride ourselves on using good quality tutors who have deep enthusiasm for their subject as well as extensive knowledge and expertise, and wherever possible hold a teaching qualification in their subject.

One week courses in the summer months led by Carolyn Clarke offer something for every
level of expertise, which can often consolidate practice and develop deeper awareness. *

British Wheel of Yoga Teacher Training, Integration Course, Foundation Courses and Modules, plus In depth courses for deeper personal development and CPD for teachers are all part of

our on going training packages.
